Pasture as far as the eye can see. All pastures are fenced in and have troughs as well as a C-connection for the irrigation of the sod during extended dry periods. We thus have a well-maintained pasture from one sowing of low-fructan grasses that is always green. The pastures are cleaned of horse manure several times a week and regularly mowed and re-fertilised.
Outside of the grazing season there are several fenced in sand paddocks. The horses have- frost-free water here. These exercise areas are all designed in a multi-layer system: gravel layers of various sizes as a bearing and drainage layer, paddock grid mats as a separation layer and washed sand as a footing layer. With a gradient and additional drainage, these exercise areas remain dry throughout the year and are also kept clean with daily collection.
